31st December and our apricot has got fresh new leaves opening alongside the old ones! I have tucked it up behind a fleece blanket in case it turns cold.

One of my Dreaming Spires Playhouses is on display (and for sale) at the wonderful gardens of West Green House near Hartley Wintney, Hampshire.
The garden is open daily from 11am to 4pm from 16th November to 11th December. Entrance is £3.50 or free to National Trust members.
Surely one of THE best gardens anywhere, it is also known for it's fantastic Christmas Fair with unusual and beautiful decorations for sale in the sumptiously decorated greenhouse and barns. The cafe is highly recommended too!
